Moto g5 plus have a sweet hidden feature called the System UI Tuner. It bundled with a ton of neat little tweaks that can make your phone nicer to use. To use it, you’ll need to turn it on, Pull down the notification area on your phone, Tap and hold on the gear icon at the top of the screen for about 5 seconds. You’ll then see a message that says System UI Tuner has been added to Settings.

go to settings developer options and here scroll all the way down till you see animation scale options you have to change the values of window animation transition animation and animated duration scale from about 1 X 2.5 x so essentially what this is doing is that it is speeding up the transitions and animations on your phone and you will feel that your phone is now a bit more snappy or than it was before.

I am Pretty sure a lot of users does not know about is that the Moto G 5 plus is the first Moto G smartphone with NFC so it does support Android pay and actually Motorola and Lenovo might bring Android pay to India very soon but apart from Android pay you can use NFC for a lot of things like NFC tags with NFC tags you can program a set of tasks with your Moto G 5 plus and whenever you place your phone near the tag it will carry out those things on its own.

By Default Moto g5 plus comes up with onscreen navigation, you can turn one button nav using built-in Moto app, Open the Moto app you will see new features called one-button nav with this feature you can eliminate the software buttons and use the fingerprint sensor to navigate around the phone,

so basically you can swipe left to go back, swipe right to open the multitasking menu, tap on the fingerprint sensor to go home and hold it to lock the screen.
